Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka Tours ACCI BEST Centre, Lays Foundation Stone for NAS National Secretariat


The ACCI BEST Centre was honoured to receive Prof. Wole Soyinka during his visit to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday.

The Nobel Laureate was received by the President of ACCI, Chief Emeka Obegolu SAN, alongside the First Deputy President of ACCI, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba and the Director of the BEST Centre, Dr. Tinuke Temitope, in the presence of other distinguished guests.

As part of the visit, Professor Soyinka toured Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology (BEST) Centre, where he was introduced to the Centre’s ongoing initiatives focused on skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

The Noble Laureate commended the effort of the BEST Centre which have trained over 5000 individuals in different skills and it's contribution to economic development. The visit also coincided with a landmark moment as he laid the foundation stone for the National Secretariat of the National Association of Seadogs within the ACCI Business Park— a significant step towards institutional growth and legacy building.
