The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) through its training arm known as Business Entrepreneurial Skills and Technology (BEST) Centre has formally signed Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with Charisma University and West African Academy of Public Health.
The signing ceremony was presided over by the ACCI President Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, CON., SAN, the Director General of the Chamber, Chief (Mrs)Tonia Shoyele and had in attendance key officials of the Centre including its Director, Victoria Akai, Head of Programs, Temitope Tinuke amongst others.
Prince Kayode who lauded the initiative said, it will go a long way in educating interested people in key areas that will enhance their skill and capacity.
Both agreements are to ensure that quality teaching and lectures are delivered to members of the Chamber and indeed the general public in carefully selected areas and programs.
Dr. Francis Ohanyido, Frsph the Chief Executive Officer of the West African Academy of Public Health said his institution, under the agreement, is to deliver training on Medical Entrepreneurship among others.
Professor Dr. Charles Anosike, Senior Vice President for International Cooperation – Charisma University also said the idea was conceived to make education and training in key areas readily and easily accessible by many people including those of the business community in Nigeria. BEST Centre happens to be the sole representative of Charisma University in Nigeria. Charisma University is an accredited Online College that offers academic programs in Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees.
