The Sexual Abuse Seminar Abuja (SASA 2018) which aims to Identify the triggers or precursors to sexual crimes in Nigeria and how to strengthen the sexual crime reporting mechanism for effective response among emergency support service providers discussed on the theme Sexual Abuses in Nigeria: Triggers, Forensic Evidence Preservation, Prosecution, Prevention and Victim support
Presenters at the seminar includes chairperson of International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA Abuja Branch), Representative of the Director of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and a representative of the Director of Public Prosecution, Federal Ministry of Justice.
Participants were drawn across lawyers, prosecutors, Sexual Abuse Referral Centers (SARCs), hospitals, government and non-government human rights organizations, Students.
