The (BEST) Centre was founded for capacity development of the business community through training programs and various activities for capacity development. As an avid advocate of youth and skills development, the centre was designated by the European Union as pioneer for implementation of disability and gender inclusive Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) in Nigeria, following its technical and institutional support through the VETToolbox project on gender and disability mainstreaming.
